The Poetry Book of Oz: A Collection of New & Classic Ozian Rhymes for the Child in All of Us.
Compiled from the pages of original Wizard of Oz novels by L. Frank Baum, with additional verses by Emerald City artist & green whiskered soldier, Tynker Smyth -
THE POETRY BOOK OF OZ is a brand new, beautifully designed, 8.25x11, 100 page hardcover collection of classic Ozian poetry celebrating the 125th Anniversary of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz novel.
Complimenting the enchanting words are over 40 water-colored illustrations based on the vintage works of John R. Neill and WW Denslow which have been meticulously rearranged, reassembled and reimagined in full color.
At Ozia Arts Press we feel rhymes and poetry are a child's doorway to the magic of reading. Poems not only act as a form of amusing, verbal entertainment but also as an educational, language puzzle of words and meaning that can stimulate a child's insight and comprehension. What better way to introduce the young mind in your family to words of imagination with the charming fantasy characters from the world of Oz!
An Oziana collector's bonus too!
The Poetry Book of Oz is not only a reader to enjoy with your children, it's sweet vintage design is a beautiful addition to the literary canon of the Baum & Plumly "First 40" treasure of Oz novels.

Tynker Smyth, born and raised in Emerald City, is an artist and writer who once was a Captain in the E City Emerald Corp for over twenty years and has now retired. He now lives in Emerald City in an apartment above his little print shop, Ozia Arts, located in the Fountain district on Growleywog Avenue. Although he's heard there are several well made moving pictures of Oz made in the land of California, his passion for Ozian culture stems from the history books written a hundred and twenty years ago by the Oz Royal Historian, L. Frank Baum. Tynker's first attempt at publishing, The Poetry Book of Oz, is a collection of character based fantasy rhymes a long time coming.; )
