Cristina Blanco is an Assistant Professor of Cost Accounting at the University of Alcalá. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Alcalá (Spain). She has authored numerous publications on business efficiency from a global perspective, exploring entrepreneurship as a business model and how innovation and dynamization facilitate organizational adaptation to a constantly evolving environment. Her research incorporates technology and social media analysis to demonstrate the importance of integrating innovative strategies into business management, highlighting their impact on organizational competitiveness and efficiency for executives.
Silvia Giralt is Associate Professor in Financial Economics and Accounting at the University of Alcalá in Madrid (Spain). She is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Technoentrepreneurship and a member of the ATURI Research Group (Analysis of the Tourism Sector and Innovation). Her research focuses on diverse areas including DEA Analysis, tourism and tourism management, strategic cost management, innovation, and corporate value, and ESG.
Alicia Ramirez is Associate Professor at the University of Alcalá in Madrid (Spain). She brings over two decades of academic experience, previously serving in the same role at the University of Almeria in Spain. She was a Visiting Scholar at UCLA Anderson School of Management (USA). Ramirez co-founded a company spin-off funded by the EU's 7th Framework Programme (FP7-KBBE-2011-2015). Her research focuses on environmental studies, business, finance, management, and health policy.
Domingo E. Ribeiro-Soriano is Professor of Business Administration at the University of Valencia (Spain). He has published over 200 research papers in SSCI/SCI-ranked journals. He has edited and contributed to books, journals, and conferences and delivered keynote speeches at international conferences. Ribeiro-Soriano has also served on the editorial board of numerous SSCI-ranked journals and led several EU-funded projects and contracts with private companies. Before academia, he worked as a consultant at EY (formerly Ernst & Young).
