Mohammad Hossein Keshavarz is a professor of Applied Linguistics and the Head of the English Language Teaching (ELT) Department at Girne American University, North Cyprus. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals, including Language in Society, International Journal of Applied Linguistics, WORD (Journal of the International Linguistic Association), International Journal of Bilingualism, Journal of Psycholinguistic Research, Communication Disorders Quarterly, International Journal of the Sociology of Language, Contrastive Pragmatics, Reading in a Foreign Language, International Journal of Bilingual Education and Bilingualism,  and TESOL Journal. He has also authored over twenty academic books in English and a two-volume bilingual dictionary (2400 Pages). He has held visiting scholar positions at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and the University of Southern California, USA. He has received seven distinguished academic and research awards, a PhD Grant, and two Graduate Scholarships from Kharazmi University in Tehran and Ohio University in the USA, respectively. He is the founding editor-in-chief of the Iranian Journal of Applied Linguistics and serves on the editorial board of many other journals. His research interests include sociolinguistics, cultural linguistics, pragmatics, and second language acquisition. 
Mahdi Noshadi holds an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and a CELTA Certificate from Cambridge University. He has published several research articles in international journals, including the International Journal of Applied Linguistics and English Literature, Theory and Practice in Language Studies, and the Journal of Language Teaching and Research. He is also the co-author of “A New Analytical Model of Cultural Linguistics” and a textbook on English pedagogy. His expertise is in English language pedagogy and teaching English to gifted secondary school students. His research interests include cultural linguistics, sociolinguistics, phonetics and phonology, and teaching methodology.
