Die Verfremdung von uns alltäglich begegnenden Dingen - in diesem Falle von Gebäuden - soll Irritationen auszulösen und andere Sichtweisen eröffnen. Architektur wird zum Ausgangspunkt für ein neues eigenständiges Kunstwerk, das für sich selbst seht. Durch die Möglichkeit, das ursprünglich Werk zu erahnen entsteht aber eine zweite Rezeptionsebene, auf der das Bauwerk und seine mögliche Metamorphose thematisiert werden.

The defamiliarisation of things we encounter every day - in this case buildings - is intended to cause irritation and open up other perspectives. Architecture becomes the starting point for a new independent work of art that stands on its own. However, the possibility of guessing the original work creates a second level of reception on which the building and its possible metamorphosis are thematised.
