Times were tough financially for the Kenwood family and the necessary move to an older less affluent neighborhood was rough for twelve year old George, until he met another George literally by accident. Suddenly his days were filled with meaning, discovery and learning things he'd never heard of. Teaching each other about woodworking, video games and ice fishing the two became inseparable and Mr. & Mrs. George Vandersnitzen became the grandparents he never knew. He grew quickly to love, and defend them from neighborhood bullies. But, sadly old George harbored a tragic secret within his heart and, along with developing dementia, it would nearly destroy the special relationship between the old and young George.
