In order to meet the need for professional education in the municipality of Amajari, the Federal Institute of Roraima (IFRR) built the Amajari Campus, which offers the Technical Course in Agriculture, with the aim of guaranteeing the construction of globalising knowledge and overcoming the limits of the disciplines. It is therefore understood that the course plan is based on the principles of interdisciplinarity. It is known, however, that implementing an interdisciplinary practice requires planning, time and willingness on the part of teachers and the management team. In addition, this process can be resisted by teachers who, adhering to traditional teaching practices, are unaware of, do not accept or do not value interdisciplinary procedures. From this perspective, the research proposed here aimed to answer the following question: does the pedagogical practice developed in the Technical Course in Agriculture at the Amajari Campus fulfil the purposes of interdisciplinarity, as stipulated in its course plan?
