Ulteriori informazioni

This shows how to predict time-temperature profiles in large concrete elements, resulting from the heat generated by the hydration of cement during the early stages of concrete construction. It sets out the evolution and flow of heat with finite-difference modelling, together with a number of case-studies.

Sommario

Introduction 1. Cement Hydration and Heat Evolution 2.Effects of Elevated Curing Temperatures on the Physical, Mechanical, and Durability Properties of Concrete 3. Modelling Temperature Development on Large Concrete Elements - a Finite-Difference Approach 4. Materials and Construction Methodologies for Early-Age Concrete Temperature Management and Control 5. Case Studies
