This book charts the transformative effect of the nature of the EU''s direct response to the Ukraine war. The war in Ukraine has proved to be a pivotal moment for the EU. The EU, with its foundation of a unique peace project, born out of two world wars, has been transformed by this crisis. Taking a three-part approach, this book looks at its constitutional impact, its substantive impact, and finally how its institutions have responded.
