Alli Patterson is a Teaching Pastor at Crossroads Church and the Leader of Crossroads Women. She preaches, teaches, and writes as part of Crossroads Church national core Teaching Team. She preaches about ten times a year on weekends for up to 25,000 people live, with tens of thousands additionally viewing sermons online.
Alli is passionate about helping others build a life on the firm foundation of Biblical truth and grace. Alli, a lifelong learner, holds a master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. This biblical knowledge equips her to compassionately help others dig through the Bible in ways that orient to the overarching narrative and to Christ, gaining depth and strength along the way. She loves teaching straight from Scripture. Her own journey in the Bible started with a ten-foot timeline on her living room floor! (She still gets excited about timelines.) Alli doesn’t do shallow or fake and believes that following Jesus is much more than a checklist of beliefs: it’s a life of deep joy, risk, adventure, and challenge with a living God. She wants others to discover this rich faith as well, anchored in the pages of scripture.
She lives in Cincinnati, OH, with her husband, Bill (of 25 years), four kids (Andrew, Luke, Zoe and Hope) and one very bratty calico cat. Alli is a fan of Mexican food, Ohio State football, geeky Bible maps and timelines, pedicures, long runs, and good books.

You will choose a focus and begin at your own starting point, following the Holy Spirit to new learning. Your personal focus will set you on your own journey, and your individual learning will add to the collective understanding of your group. Small pieces always lead to deeper and richer places in scripture!
Rather than a classic Bible study with predetermined steps, these practices will set you up for personal encounters with a living God anytime you read. As you experiment in each session, you will gain confidence whether you've never studied the Bible before or done scores of studies.
