Ulteriori informazioni

They. Didn't. Know. offers a refreshing perspective that encourages open, honest conversations that move beyond often romanticized or superficial discussions on mental health. This collection of twenty-seven poems is divided into six sections, each focused on a unique aspect or state of mind encountered in Tuhina Pal's mental health journey, ranging from isolation and denial in "the shut door." to self-reflection and pride in "Her". Alongside the thought-provoking and heartfelt poems, the journal entries and illustrations further highlight the intense power and impact of sorrowful thoughts and emotions of those who often feel isolated or misunderstood. They. Didn't. Know. emphasizes the non-linear nature of mental health challenges while also striving to instill hope. Though inspired by personal experiences, these poems reach out to anyone willing to connect with the raw emotions expressed within the pages, aiming to inspire and raise awareness of the daily struggles that many of us - whether loved ones, friends, peers, colleagues, or ourselves - may silently endure.
