Shalli Rani is currently Director, Research & Senior Member of IEEE. She completed her post-doc from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK in 2023. She also serves as a professor at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Chitkara University, Punjab, India. She has 18+ years of teaching experience. She holds an MCA degree from Maharishi Dyanand University, Rohtak, an M.Tech. degree in Computer Science from Janardan Rai Nagar Vidyapeeth University, Udaipur, and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Applications from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. Her research focusses on Wireless Sensor Networks, Underwater Sensor networks, Machine Learning and Internet of Things. She has published and presented more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences (SCI+Scopus) and edited/authored five books with international publishers. She presently serves as Associate Editor with IEEE Future Directions Letters and Guest Editor with IEEE Transaction on Industrial Informatics and Hindawi WCMC. She received the prestigious Young Scientist Award in 2014 from the Punjab Science Congress, along with the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Supervisor of the Year Award from Global Innovation and Excellence, 2021.
Ayush Dogra is presently an Allied Member of the European Society of Oncological Imaging and serves as Assistant Director - Research, CURIN, Chitkara University, Punjab, India. He holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering and Technology from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, a master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Punjabi University, Patiala, and a master's degree in Business Management (MBA) from IGNOU, Delhi. He was awarded a doctorate degree by the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Panjab University. His research focuses on devising a novel and innovative, market-oriented mechanism for medical image fusion. He has previously worked as CSIR-Nehru Post-Doctoral Researcher with CSIR, Chandigarh; Junior and Senior Research Fellow with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Punjab University, Chandigarh; and Post-doctoral Fellow with the Center of Biomedical Engineering, IIT Ropar.
Ashu Taneja is currently Associate Professor at Chitkara University, Punjab, India. She has more than 13 years of experience in academia and industrial research. She received her M.E. from Thapar University, Punjab. She has published more than 30 research papers in various International Journals (SCI & Scopus indexed) and chaired many sessions in international conferences across India. She has also published some edited books and chapters. She has served as a reviewer for many reputed journals, such as IEEE, IET, Hindawi and MDPI. She is a lifetime member of ISTE. Her research areas include IoT, 5G, 6G, wireless networks, energy harvesting.
