Ulteriori informazioni

The story behind the mythical origin of the Northern Lights, told through the adventures of a lost young snow fox and her journey back home.

Starkly atmospheric artwork captures the special magic of the arctic landscape and the urgency of preserving this climate in this lushly illustrated picture book for 4-8-year-old readers.

As the nights in Svalbard grow dark, cold and endless, a young arctic fox called Rana plays in the snow. The winter doesn't scare her; it means cozy evenings filled with her mother's stories, and adventurous days spent following other animals' snowy tracks. Rana's favorite animal to follow is the polar bear because they often leave tasty treats behind!

But after a day of following the bear's path, the snowstorm has become so thick that Rana can no longer see the footprints, let alone find her way back home! And although she is wearing her fluffiest winter coat, the night is too cold and dark for a little fox all on her own. Fortunately, the big kindly bear finds the little fox wrapped up in her snowy white tail and decides to show her the way home.

This adorable animal picture book about a lost snow fox is a beautiful story about courage, and a true celebration of the arctic landscape. Filled with heartwarming illustrations, it is bound to delight any animal lover.
