Karin S. Hendricks is Associate Professor of Music Education and Associate Director of the School of Music at Boston University. She is an active instrumental clinician and adjudicator, and lectures regularly on music teaching, motivation, and performance. Hendricks serves as President of the American String Teachers Association, has won several teaching awards, and served on editorial committees for the
Journal of Research in Music and Bulletin of the Council for Research in Music Education. Her research focuses on compassion, connection, motivation, and wellbeing through music.
