Das Buch ist der Begleitband zur gleichnamigen Ausstellung "Frauen im geteilten Deutschland", die von der Bundesstiftung zur Aufarbeitung der SED-Diktatur herausgegeben wird. The photo-text book "Women in Divided Germany" provides insights into the everyday lives of women in East and West Germany since the 1970s. It presents 110 photos and documents as well as concise texts in German and English that trace the different realities of women's lives in Germany.
