In the present work a modern psychotherapeutic approach is carried out, valuing the psychoanalytic postulates that strengthen and support these techniques of intervention or treatment at individual and group level; this book provides the essential elements of dynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapies, useful for students and professionals who intervene with patients in their clinical practice. Among the fundamental elements compiled are the background of psychotherapy from antiquity to the present day, as well as highlighting advances in both dynamic clinical psychology and psychoanalytic psychotherapy; The processes of clinical intervention with brief psychotherapy, support psychotherapy, time-limited psychotherapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, crisis intervention processes, psychoanalytic group psychotherapy with its respective components, psychotherapy focused on transference, psychotherapy of forgiveness, the figure of the psychotherapist and his patient, psychotherapy in its opportune moment are described; all this with the purpose of seeking solutions to mild conflicts, neurosis, personality disorders, both individual, couple and family.
