Matthias Trier is Professor of Information Systems and Social Computing at the University of Paderborn, Germany and a Visiting Professor at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. His research interests include digital social user behavior such as the appropriation of social media and collaboration platforms in companies' digital participation, the influence of electronic discourse, cooperation in virtual reality, and event-driven dynamic network analysis.
