Gabriela Mistral - A Chilean poet and educator, who became the first Latin American author to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. Rigoberta Menchú - An Indigenous Guatemalan woman and human rights activist, who made history as the first Indigenous woman to run for president of Guatemala. Eulalia Guzmán - Mexico's first female archaeologist, whose work contributed significantly to the preservation and understanding of Mesoamerican cultures.
