Cindy Sherman
Since her earliest photographs in the 1970s, Cindy Sherman has established herself as one of the most respected contemporary artists. Sherman's work is playful and provocative, and immensely imaginative. It also addresses important issues such as the role and image of women, the question of identity, and the power of images to generate new narratives.
Organized chronologically, Cindy Sherman provides a comprehensive review of the artist's work, from the early Bus Riders, Murder Mystery, and Untitled Film Stills, to the most recent Clowns.
