Ulteriori informazioni

Actor, Writer, Producer, Author. Lynda La Plante is a creative force to be reckoned with.

Best known as the writer behind TV's Prime Suspect, Widows and The Governor, being a bestselling crime writer is actually Lynda's third career. Having worked as a jobbing actor, Lynda decided she wanted to write the fierce, flawed and deep roles for women that weren't available in the '70s and '80s, and in doing so, broke through the glass ceiling and changed TV drama for ever.

From studying drama at RADA with the likes of John Hurt and Ian McShane to treading the boards in musical comedy; from typing her first ideas on spec to running her own award-winning production company; from mixing with the mafia in Italy to shadowing a private detective in Los Angeles, this is a book filled with hilarious and surprising stories told with Lynda's trademark wit and style.

Always a maverick, always pushing boundaries, always standing strong where others would have wilted, Lynda remains at the very top of her game and Getting Away with Murder shows exactly how shedunnit.
