Children of the Stars Celestial Journey is a story about six children and a pet dog named Cherry setting out together on a journey and the trials and tribulations they experience along the way to their destination. It is highlighted in this tale the help they received from an Angel, travellers and other people they met during the journey. George the eldest of the children had a dream about Children of the Stars just prior to setting out on their travels and the receptionist at the Castle Inn where they found lodgings, related a story to the children of her recollection about a legend she was told of the Children from the Star Sirius.

Jan Rose was born in the State of Victoria and moved to South Australia when she was six years old. She studied at the University of South Australia and gained a Bachelor of Business degree, with a Major in Commercial Law in 2001 and has graduated in the Master of Information Technology in 2021. Her interest in writing was inspired by her studies in communication and media within her first degree course.

Most of her books are non fiction and drawn from her personal experiences in life; she has current writing projects in process, an e-book on Science and Origin of Life, also Astrology Forecast Insights on marriage indications she gleaned from her study of Astrology over 45 years and "Eva Carrington and Sarah Ann " about the search for her ancestry and final revelations.
