Ulteriori informazioni

Much like poetry, music too, can easily stir up all kinds of feelings in you.'The Mixtape of My Heart' recognises that, and is a collection of writings about love and loss, longing and belonging; accompanied by songs that resonates with or inspired those pieces of writings.Every chapter consists of poetic proses and musings with a dedicated song, much like a mixtape with handwritten notes.Excerpts from 'The Mixtape of My Heart':"It's a strangely isolating and heartbreaking feeling, to always be searching and yearning for a home; to always be missing a person or a place that you may never be able to return to.""You've awakened in me a whirlwind of emotions that have laid dormant and untouched for ages, and now I'm always overspilling when it comes to you, my heart bursting at the seams just for you.""But on some days, your heart forgets it's broken, the weight of the world feels a little lighter and you laugh a little harder. Maybe one day, that'll be enough."

Info autore

"I feel, therefore I am."

That is Priscilla's life motto, one that has helped her navigate her ever complicated and intense emotions. Ever since she was 16, she has always turned to books, writing and music to deal with all of the heartache, loneliness and other big feelings.

She published her very first piece of writing back in 2016 on her first blog '3amscreams', as well as DIY poetry zines such as 'Turbulent Emotions' and 'Sometimes, The Moon Is All I Have', all of which features an exclusive collection of her poetry and prose.

Nowadays, she still channels all of her feelings into words by sharing them on her substack (prispls.substack.com), and onto her TikTok (@pris.pls). You can also find her very first poetry book 'How It Feels To Feel Too Much' on Amazon.
