Amanda Li is a children's writer and creative consultant who works across all age groups, from pre-school to teenage. She specialises in non-fiction, humour and activity titles and has had more than seventy books published. She is the winner of the 2020 Blue Peter Children's Book Award for her book Rise Up.

Amanda is often commissioned to create new ideas for children's popular brands and licences, such as The World of Moominvalley and The Flower Fairies. She writes factual non-fiction for organisations such as The Science Museum and The Imperial War Museum and also works as a ghost writer, helping many well-known authors with their work.

Before becoming a freelance writer, Amanda worked in children's publishing as a commissioning editor. She lives in London with her family.
Angel Chang is an illustrator from Taiwan who lives with high-functioning autism symptoms. Angel's clients include Chronicle, Macmillan Publishers, The Washington Post and National Geographic. Her first illustrated picture book,
