C. NEIL BULL is Interim Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. An Assoicate Professor of sociology there, as well as Principal Investigator at the National Resource Center for Rural Elderly, he has published widely in journals such as Society and Culture and the Journal of Leisure Research.

NANCY D. LEVINE is lecturer in sociology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and local community colleges.
