Samy Elwany is a Professor of Otolaryngology in the Department of Otolaryngology at Alexandria University, Egypt. He also holds the positions of President for the Egyptian Society of Otolaryngology and President of the Alexandria Society of Rhinology (Rhinoalex). Furthermore, he served as the Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology at Alexandria University from 2007 to 2010, and he chaired the committee responsible for promoting the academic staff in the field of otolaryngology at Egyptian universities from 2013 to 2016.
Dr. Elwany is a distinguished member of CORLAS (Collegium Oto-Rhino-Laryngologicum Amicitiae Sacrum) and the American Academy of Otolaryngology. His extensive contributions to the field include numerous publications in international journals and the authorship of three books. His exceptional achievements have been recognized through awards from both Alexandria University and the Egyptian State.
