Conilon coffee is the most widely grown coffee species in the world. In Brazil, more specifically in the state of Espírito Santo, this species is of significant importance in the state's socio-economic scenario and makes a strong contribution to the national economy, making Brazil the world's largest producer of the species. Precision farming is an innovative method that makes coffee cultivation more conscious and economical, without the indiscriminate use of correctives, fertilisers and pesticides that damage the soil and the habitat of various species. This book is divided into six chapters that explain the history of coffee cultivation in Brazil, descriptions such as taxonomy, classification and general characteristics of the plant and its economic importance. It also shows in a simplified way how the soil is prepared (fertilisation and liming), nutrition (the role of each nutrient), a detailed demonstration of the precision agriculture technique, with a detailed methodology from collecting material to carrying out technical and statistical analyses through a complete case study followed by a discussion.
