Africa, the land of slavery, has seen some dark periods in its history. It contains all forms of slavery, particularly intra-African and extra-African. From the Arab slave trade to the slave trade, the continent in general, and Chad in particular, has not been totally spared from this phenomenon, which has continued into the 21st century of modern times.
