Dr Emma Southon is a Roman historian and writer. She studied ancient history at the University of Birmingham and is the author of four other books on Roman history. Emma loves the Romans because they are horrible. She lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland and is devoted to her cat, Livia.
Rikin Parekh studied art at Camberwell College of Arts and the University of Westminster. He has since worked storyboarding and designing monsters for the film industry and selling books for a national chain. When he's not drawing you'll probably find him at the cinema or at Comic Con. He's a HUGE film buff, loves pizza and collecting original comic book artwork. He also has a pet elephant.
