The
purpose of the book is twofold (people with ADD
never have just a single purpose or goal in mind).
First, it is a
memoir, a reasonably comprehensive record of life, valuable for both historical and self-reflection purposes.
Second, it it is a
gift to you, dear reader. It is intended it to provide both
hope and encouragement to the many out there who feel like a "square peg in a round hole," never quite fitting in or meeting up to society's standards, unable to succeed along the
conventional path, and feeling badly about it. There is another way, indeed many other ways, to be your
