Kathrin Rögglas Prosa zählt innerhalb der deutschsprachigen Gegenwartsliteratur zu den weitreichendsten Versuchen, den Realismus neu zu denken. Im Rahmen einer qualitativen Analyse der Stilentwicklung von Rögglas Prosa setzt sich diese Studie mit ihrer Poetik auseinander, um festzustellen, inwieweit Rögglas Schreiben einer 'Szeno-Graphie' der Gegenwart entspricht.

Kathrin Röggla’s prose is one of the most far-reaching attempts to rethink realism in contemporary German-speaking literature. In a qualitative analysis of the stylistic development of Röggla’s prose, this study examines her poetics in order to determine the extent to which Röggla's writing can be seen as a "sceno-graphy" of the present.
