It was Michelle's dream to live without money, and one day it became true. She was also curious about how it will be when we can't sell and buy anything anymore unless we take the Mark of the Beast (666), as described in the biblical book of Revelation. So she lived in southern France almost entirely without money for one year and wrote down her experiences, posting them in German on her blog (vagabundenblog.wordpress.com). Now telling the story in English for the first time, Silvia Fischer shares the real-life adventure of surviving on only 88 Euros for the whole of 2009 - which became the happiest year of her life! Read her personal account of how the idea turned out successfully! You'll find more from the author and blogger Silvia Fischer, who publishes mostly in German, online here: https://linktr.ee/SilviaFischer. There you can also find, alongside much else of interest, the German version of her book about the moneyless adventure in France and more than hundred videos.
Info autore
Silvia Fischer loves travelling and writing. For one year (2009) she lived moneyless in southern France and wrote about her adventurous life on a German blog (vagabundenblog.wordpress.com).
It was the happiest year of her life. After that she went on for eight more years living on as little money as possible, which was around 150 euros per month. For two years she lived in a van and for six years she helped people who took her in as a guest.
After these years living outside the system she went back to Germany and in 2020 self-published her first book, "Der Vagabundenblog: Vom Leben ohne Geld". She writes on different blogs and makes videos (https://linktr.ee/SilviaFischer).
She is originally from the Frankfurt am Main region and was a librarian before working for a German institute in Brazil for six years. She has been keeping a diary since her adolescence. Now she's around sixty.
