In the Upper Room

"IN THE UPPER ROOM" is a biblical one-act drama that theatricalizes the events surrounding the Passover meal Jesus shared with his disciples the night before he was crucified. This high-energy play can utilize as many as 13 male actors. In the third original production, the director used both men and women to make up the 13 cast members.

LISA SOLAND (Playwright/Director) has produced and directed over 120 productions and original play readings. As a playwright, she has over 50 play publications with Samuel French, Inc., Concord Theatricals, Smith & Kraus, Applause Books, Dramatic Publishing, and All Original Play Publishing. Ms. Soland teaches playwriting at Maryville College and enjoys traveling the United States leading various writing workshops.
