Informationen zum Autor Donna R. Gabaccia is Professor of History at the University of Toronto, Canada. She has authored or edited books and articles on international, interdisciplinary and feminist studies of migration. Her work has been honoured by the American Sociological Association and the Immigration and Ethnic History Society, and she is a past president of the Social Science History Association. Franca Iacovetta is Professor of History at the University of Toronto, Canada. She has authored or edited books and articles on Canadian, international, and feminist studies of migration, labour, radicalism, internment, pluralism, and the Cold War. Her scholarship has received several awards, including from the Canadian Historical Association, and she is past president of the Berkshire Conference of Women Historians.
