Ulteriori informazioni

A study done by national road safety claims Ethiopia as having one of the highest accident records in the world. An accident is unintended event such as collision that cause damage or death, the WHO (1997) defines a transport accident as "an accident involving a device designed primarily for conveying persons or good from one place to another". Our study area is located from Torhayloch to Winget & Mesalemiya to Ambo road which has a roundabout named "18 mazoriya". The aim of this study is to suggest in alleviating problems or car accidents caused on intersections specifically on the roundabout of our case study and point out the main causes and give remedial measures as a recommendation. While doing this paper we had limitations on time and information availability. Although we had these limitations we gathered the data we can from various organizations then analyze and gave recommendation based on the results we found. The result of these data's implied how much the accidents rates have increased over the years and that most of the accidents occur because of human factors which are discussed briefly in this work.
