The poisoning produced by the bite of the Loxosceles laeta spider is potentially serious and lethal. The specific treatment consists of the administration of Antiloxosceles Serum, which is the only effective treatment for cases of loxosceles. For its elaboration, it is necessary to obtain the spiders in the field; their breeding and maintenance until they are apt for the extraction of their glandular apparatus; the processing of the venom with the elaboration of a homogenate that is used to inoculate the intervening equines in the established Immunization Plan. The bleeding of the inoculated animals once the hyperimmunization has been achieved; the separation of the plasma; its purification; the realization of the corresponding controls to guarantee its efficacy and innocuousness and its packaging in sterile conditions, are the unavoidable steps to follow so that every laboratory that needs it, has the possibility of doing it.
