Dinosaur Soup

Originally published by the stationery company, Bob's Your Uncle in 2008, this collection of recipes came about after a call for submissions to parents to ask their children to dictate to them how to make their favorite dish, requesting that the child should not be corrected or advised about any aspect of the recipe, even if measurements, temperature or timing was way off - that is what we were hoping for!

The result is an interpretive cookbook of sorts, containing partially cooked, completely uncooked, totally overcooked, and/or readily unavailable or non-existent ingredients.

Martin is a graphic designer. Born in Plymouth, England, he has lived in the US for nearly thirty years with his wife, Michele. He has written two books: a family memoir called A Fortnight in August, and a novel: Blissfully Unaware.
