Xiaogang Zhang is Professor of Chemistry in College of Material Science and Engineering at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the Director of Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Electrochemical Energy Storage Technology. He received his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Lanzhou University in 2001. His current research interests include the design and development of nanostructured composites and their applications in energy storage and conversion. He has published more than 500 peer-reviewed articles in international journals with H index of 99.
