Imperial Russia and the Shah's Iran: common problems of history - Late 18th - 20th centuries

The three articles in this collection examine some issues of comparative development and interaction between the Russian Empire and the Iranian state during the late 18th - early 20th centuries. Particular attention is paid to military issues, since both in Iran and Russia the armed forces were at the cutting edge of modernization. The problem of studying the history of the Persian Cossack Brigade from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present day is considered separately.

Autor de más de 80 publicaciones científicas. Intereses científicos: historia de la Brigada Cosaca Persa, inteligencia militar rusa en el Oriente musulmán en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, relaciones ruso-iraníes en el siglo XIX.
