The Child and the construction of identity in Maracatu de Baque Virado - Studies on the contribution of Maracatu de Baque Virado in Education

When children play, moving and humming, they discover their own body, the world and reinvent themselves with each new challenge that is proposed to them. In this process, they relate to the culture and the world in which they live and discover it every day, giving it meaning. We are going to get to know the routine and the characteristics of the development of the children of the Maracatu Porto Rico Nation, located in the Bode Community, in the neighbourhood of Pina, in Recife-PE, in order to understand with more appreciation the particularities of the construction of the identity of these children.
