The Present book deals with the vegetation structure and composition of Asia's largest grassland stretch located in the Kachchh District of Gujarat state in India. This book includes vegetation, the ecological status of plants of conservation significance and a details inventory of the plants utilized by locals for various diseases and disorders also discussed. Since it was the finest grassland, to revive its previous status, a few management and conservation strategies also will be helpful for restoration.

Dr. Yatinkumar Patel has done his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Botany, specializing in Plant taxonomy and ecology. He has published his research work in various peer-reviewed journals. Presently he is serving as a teacher of Biology subject at Shree M. K. Vyas High School & Shree V. M. Patel Higher Secondary School, Umta-Visanagar, Gujarat.
