Chongji Jin, born in 1930 in Shanghai, specializes in the history of the Communist Party of China and modern China. Jin graduated from the History Department at Fudan University. His former positions include: Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office at Fudan University, Chief Editor of the Cultural Relics Press, Executive Deputy Director and researcher in the Documentary Research Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, member of the National Philosophy and Social Science Planning Leadership, and delegate in the Seventh, Eighth and Ninth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Jin is currently Chief Editor of the history series "Revival Library", adjunct professor and doctoral dissertation supervisor at Peking University, Fudan University and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
