Conservation Collection's Critically Endangered books are a children's non-fiction series featuring an A to Z listing of Critically Endangered and Endangered animals currently listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) on their Red List of Threatened Species. The books feature the common and scientific names of each species, where they are found, how many may be left in the world, a full-colour illustration and fun facts about each animal. The third instalment of the Conservation Collection's Critically Endangered series; Book three: Birds, introduces young readers to exotic and critically endangered birds and the threats they face in the wild in order to inspire the next generation of avian enthusiasts and conservationists. This book will take the reader across continents to learn about these birds from around the world, and why we should care for all endangered species and their habitats. With much dedication and research undertaken for this A to Z book, Conservation Collection's Critically Endangered: Birds hopes to present to young readers the importance of conserving and preserving our environment and the wildlife that lives within those habitats.

Hannah is based in New South Wales, Australia and has had years of experience with animals both endangered and domestic species, which has inspired her to produce a book for children to assist in educating about such conservation topics. Hannah's special interest has been to highlight species that may not be commonly recognised due to their critically endangered status or less-cuddly appearances.Hannah is qualified in Natural Science (Animal Science, Conservation Biology, Zoology) and her collaborative team are members of the veterinary, wildlife, and environmental conservation fields. Hannah and her team have worked carefully in their research to be sure that all information is up to date and correct with the current International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species.
