Joseph Montelione has worked with Billy Joel, Tony Bennett, Patti LaBelle, Charlie Daniels, Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, The Irish Tenors, Ruben Studdard, Mandisa, Kim Choo-ja, The Little River Band, Julie Andrews, Nathan Lane, Lou Diamond Phillips, Ian Fraser, Laura Bell Bundy, Frankie Valli, Michael Bublé, and many others. He is a member of the Walt Disney World Orchestra, with affiliations with Sarasota Orchestra, Florida Orchestra, Orlando Philharmonic, Opera Tampa, Jacksonville Symphony, Coastal Symphony of Georgia, Opera Memphis, Memphis Symphony, Alabama Symphony, Moscow State Radio Symphony, Bayreuth Festival Orchestra, Washington Symphony Orchestra, to name a few. He has been seen on Broadway with shows such as A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Victor/Victoria, The King and I, and Big: The Musical, as well as first national tours such as Wicked and Disney’s Aladdin. As a music director, Montelione has conducted a variety of groups including the Memphis Chamber Players, New Ballet Ensemble, West Point Military Academy Band, the Capistrano Performing Arts Center Orchestra, and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Additionally, he has held teaching positions at the University of Florida, Rhodes College, Florida Tech University, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
