Kang'we, an orphaned boy lives with his poor grandmother, Wamutheke, at the edge of the Evil Forest, which is home to many scary and evil monsters. Soon, a little child monster loses his way and finds itself in Kang'we's compound. The two become friends but the little monster becomes a real monster against Kang'we.In efforts to seek help for Kang'we, Wamutheke soon learns there are many more and worse monsters in the world beyond the Evil Forest.
