The ballet dancer is under great pressure in relation to their weight, which makes this population a vulnerable group. This book seeks to understand the development of Eating Disorders in Ballet dancers in order to delve into how they live it, through a case study using as informants three key subjects, conducting in-depth interviews in order to analyze the experiences of the dancers and the elements that have influenced the development of Eating Disorders or their symptoms and understand the perspective they have of the phenomenon.I would also like to thank the participants of this work, for being brave and telling their stories, for deciding to do things differently, for deciding to put yourselves first. For the people with much more time in the company whose interviews do not appear here, but who were key.key.I thank you for your years of work, and know that I have a deep respect for you.
