Ama Darkwa Holmes is a wife, mother, educator and a lifelong learner. She is a first-generation immigrant from Ghana, West Africa, who was offered the opportunity at 6 years old, to pursue educational opportunities and a better life in America. Throughout her childhood, her family and various adults guided and encouraged her to learn, believe in herself, always try her best, and always have courage. As she got older, she began to permit herself to dream big and to set and pursue her goals by consistently seeking knowledge, learning from others and learning from her mistakes. Today, she is an educator and an entrepreneur who feels fortunate to have the opportunity to pay forward her many blessings. She diligently seeks to serve and inspire children everywhere, as they too, realize their very own power and potential.
