In the village of Cookie Land, an unassuming cookie named Chip offers to help when a storm destroys their only bridge. He soon realizes his journey across the river to get to Chocolate Mountain is more dangerous than he expected. With the whole village counting on young Chip, he knows there's no turning back now. His journey takes him on an unforgettable adventure that forces him to solve problems, overcome fears & develop friendships. He learns that he has courage he never knew he had. The Courageous Cookie reminds us that there's a hero within us all and that it truly does take a village to make for a better world.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Eric Figueroa is a published author & poet. A Los Angeles native, he grew up in West Covina and still resides in Southern California where he is a devoted husband, father & grandfather. Using rhyme for his storytelling, he knows that words are powerful tools and is passionate about using them to build up rather than break down. His vision is to spread positivity and empowerment through his writing. Additionally, he would like to create a charitable platform (The Courageous Cookie Foundation) that would directly contribute to cancer research while also providing support to families affected by childhood cancer.
