Jorge Amil Dias was Head of Pediatric Gastroenterology at the Centro Hospitalar Universitário Hospital de São João, Porto, Portugal. He is co-founding Member of the Working Group on IBD of ESPGHAN, Consulting Editor for Journal of Food Allergy, Associate Editor of Frontiers in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Associate Editor of Orphanet Journal of Rare Diseases, Member of the Working Group on Eosinophilic GI Diseases of ESPGHAN, Endoscopy Special Interest Group of ESPGHAN and President of the College of Paediatrics, Portugal. Ha was President of the College of Paediatric Gastroenterology if Portugal and member of Ethics Committee of ESPGHAN. He is member of SPGP, ESPGHAN, LASPGHAN and SEGHNP. He has been distinguished as Honorary Member of the Hungarian Pediatric Gastroenterology Society.

Isabel Polanco is Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics. Autonomous University of Madrid,Spain. Member  of the Working Group on Celiac Disease of ESPGHAN.She has been Head of the Department of Paediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at the Children's University Hospital 'La Paz' for 30 years, General Secretary of the Spanish Paediatrics Association, General Secretary of ESPGHAN, and Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition. Her main topic is celiac disease: genetic, immunological, and environmental factors. She has published more than 515 papers in national and international journals. She has received 37 national and  international prizes and obtained 52 grants for research. She is Member of 21 international paediatric associations.
