Gareth Lucas is an illustrator and designer from Essex, England. After studying at Brighton and Central Saint Martin's Art Schools, he has worked on a variety of children's books centred around the natural world. In 2016, he was the winner of the Sainsbury’s Childrens Book Awards for Peekaboo A to Z. He is the illustrator of I Wonder Why: The Sea Is Salty and I Wonder Why: Camels Have Humps .
