The book is written to help the researchers who are interested to work in the field of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi. The book will give an overview of the AM Fungi and beginners can use the protocols given in the last chapter. Before proceeding for molecular characterization, it is very important to identify the AM Fungi by morphology of the spores isolated from soil and roots. Identification protocols are described with reference to the commonly available species of Maharashtra. The book describes 32 AM Fungal species found in the soils of Maharashtra.
