I am interested in using feelings about past experiences to find valid pathways for future action. This reflective exercise is common to most cultures. I enjoy useful insight which arrives when we explore the differences between viewpoints. This insight is a good source for writing themes. I have studied and worked as a journalist, teacher and university lecturer in the USA, Sudan, Japan, Portugal and England, where I was lucky enough to absorb different ways of thinking and learning in the world.
I have worked on writing and presenting critical thinking skills at the University of Winchester, Sussex, Southampton and Portsmouth. In my freetime I enjoy the challenge of preparing art work for presentation in a gallery. I also need to be to be outdoors on the water or in the forest.
